Content Filtering

The main purpose of our content filtering technology is to prevent sending potentially dangerous information.

The strength of our solution is that it allows extract multiple embedded and/or compressed attachments and other objects. We search the text not only in body of the message but also in attachments, COM+/OLE objects, compressed files or multiple nested files.

We support a lot of file types, eg.:

Microsoft Office files, Adobe PDF, RTF, TXT, TAR, ZIP, ARJ, 7-zip, BZ2, CAB, CPIO, DEB, GZ, RAR, RPM, TAR, Z, ZIP.

We test the type of a file by an extension and binary content. We provide predefined types such as: multimedia, executables, images etc. but you can create other types by learning SMI!

We provide many textual dictionaries such as: data leak, security, medical, accounting, etc. so the process of searching interesting phrases is much easier.

You can choose if you are searching just one word, more words or you can weight all words and you can set threshold level adequate for you. You can create new dictionaries.

When you catch a potentially dangerous message you can choose what to do with such a message. Yu can use a dozen of actions including:

quarantine
park message
delete message
archive message
log message
send notification

You can also decide what to do with encrypted e-mails and encrypted attachments.
